    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class was largely discussion based, with very few written assignments and occasional lectures. Most homework consisted of reading. The Professor was very laid back and very understanding. When I had a personal crisis, he was willing to extend a deadline for me with no fuss. Very good professor, very interesting course, and a very lenient grading system, in my opinion. I would definitely recommend.

    Course highlights:

The class studied deeply into the work of Jonathon Swift, Shakespeare, and Chaucer. I learned a lot of the authors' personal histories and about the eras in which they lived, with an emphasis on their contributions to literature and the English language.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do all the ready assignments, and study your lecture notes. It may not seem important because there is not many tests, but it will come back to bite you in discussion and on the final.
