    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course will force you to step outside your comfort zone and allow you to build skills that you wouldn't have otherwise. From peer critiques to service learning, you will not only learn how to be an effective instructor, but you will learn where your strengths and weaknesses are. You will be do self-critiques and discover how you can improve your performance and have the opportunity to do so.

    Course highlights:

I learned that my teaching skills needed to be improved. For instance, I am monotone when teaching chair pilates for service learning and this doesn't excite the class or keep them interested. I also learned that my voice projection for classes was too low and elderly participants were unable to hear me. I learned how to design fitness programs and was introduced to chair pilates and the many exercises that may be incorporated to training in a chair.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be on time for everything. Be very professional at service learning and observations and dress conservatively.
