    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Suresh Moorthy is a great teacher and is very understanding. He has been teaching for a while and tests are difficult but if you study enough you'll do really well.

    Course highlights:

You learn about stresses in materials and its just like statics but with movement involved. One thing you learn to do is solve for the max load that is allowed on a material before it breaks.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot and don't underestimate this class. If you become lazy and don't do the work you'll fall behind.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The material is hard. Don't think you'll be able to pull off an A by studying the night before an exam. Try your best to keep up with the material and you'll be fine.

    Course highlights:

This class is basically a continuation of Statics. You learn a lot about forces and how they act on materials.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the flow of the class and you'll be fine. Be sure to ask questions if you're confused about something.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't take this class unless you have to. Very hard and a lot of work!

    Course highlights:

Learn about bending, deflection, shearing, etc. of beams

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

SI sessions are a must. Wouldn't pass the class without them. This class is going to take a lot of time and effort in order to pass.
