    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course, if you do not have to take it. Professor Harvey is not the nicest guy, and his class is difficult. He does not take attendance every day, but he does random quizzes quite often. This can hurt your grade if you are not there those days. His quizzes are difficult, and he makes you take them online with a short time limit.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you can pass a class even though I dug a pretty deep hole with the two tests given. I got a 56 on the first test, a 64 on the second, and finished with a C+ in the class. The homework is not required, but you have to do them in order to do well on the quizzes, and test. The problems her works out in the class will most likely show up again.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you can get your hands on any of the tests, do it! The best way you can be successful in this class is to read the textbook and work out as many problems as possible. If you have trouble with any of them, go see Harvey because he will favor you. I did not do that and strongly regret it, because Harvey will bump your grade if you have seen him or improved on tests.
