Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course can open up your eyes to so many different ways on how people communicate on a daily bases. The professor is also an amazing bonus to this course.

    Course highlights:

We go everyday, back and forth communicating with people and we do not see certain ways that people communicate with you. This course taught you how we express ourselves with family, friends, and even with our romantic relationships.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course you need to make sure that you are attending every class. PrideShaw has two different types of notes, lecture notes and textbook notes. The lecture notes are only given by her orally in each class period. Students are required to read the chapters and follow her chapter outlines to obtain the textbook notes. Start making your study guides as you move along the chapters, if you wait till the week of to start doing that you will fall behind in your studies.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was really interesting, especially if you need the class for a CMST credit. Even better if you're a public relations major like me, lots of the information was helpful.

    Course highlights:

You gain a lot of new insight into how people communicate with one another.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It was interesting and challenging, but I can't stress enough how much you need to go to class. Reading the textbook helps, but Dr. Hatcher gives additional information in the lectures that you're going to need to know for the exam.
