Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The topics discussed in this class are really interesting. Also, it was an online class which made it possible for me to take the class. You just need to be aware of any time differences. Besides interesting topics it has been a great discussion overall too.

    Course highlights:

The variety of topics, which were connected to Hawaiian actual issues.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be aware of any time differences if you take the online class. Read all the material and you will be fine.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This instructor challenges students to look at topics from points of view that they wouldn't normally approach subjects. He skillfully assists students in navigating how to properly write a research and/or argumentative paper. Be prepared, the class is intense and if you are taking the accelerated version, be prepared to work twice as hard.

    Course highlights:

I learned that formal writing is not usually written from the first person perspective. I also learned that you should not write using contractions. Also, we were taught how to put our voice into a paper without using the first person.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you plan on taking this course be organized but flexible. Be prepared for a lot of research and writing, also he doesn't allow you to use Google for internet research. The text is easy to read and follow and it is really helpful with writing the papers.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because the professor was fair with grading everyone's work as well as that he gives out instructions on all assignments clearly. Also, doing it in the winter term, the class is shorter, so I was able to finish the course in a short amount of time.

    Course highlights:

With this course, my knowledge on grammar was greatly improved such as the uses of different type of punctuation marks, as well as subject-verb principles.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In such short amount of time to complete this class, I think the biggest obstacle for everyone is to take the initiative to complete every assignment on time. I've seen some of my classmates that they were procrastinating on this assignments, which were fairly easy.
