    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

She is so outgoing and helpful with every assignment in class. She makes sure that you always understand what is going on, and if you don't, she is very ready and willing to meet with you at any time to give you help. The work for the course never seemed like busy work and was very helpful in making me a better writer.

    Course highlights:

I learned to get things done on time. I also learned that even through you may think you are a perfect writer, there is always a lot that you can do to become even better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class. The information that she gives out during the lessons almost give you a clear guideline on how to write your papers. Missing one class made me feel like I was behind everyone else.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a great intro to college writing. This course focuses more on the content than the structure and grammar. You will expand your mind and write in a new way than what you are accustomed to.

    Course highlights:

I gained more appreciation for writing after this course. I do not like to read or write but I learned the many different forms and how effective writing can be for an individual. Writing in different ways allowed me to expand my mind.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will need a positive attitude and be open to trying new things. The grading scale is either full credit, partial credit, or no credit. As long as you apply yourself and do the work on time you will receive full credit and a great experience.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class helped me grow my writing abilities and strengthen areas where I was previously lacking. I benefited from each discussion boards we did, and was able to better myself through each.

    Course highlights:

I loved being able to edit and revise my work for the better. My teacher also gave me valuable feedback on all assignments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for a lot of work and essays each week. In the end, though, you will be rewarded if you consistently work hard.
