    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher does not help the student. She is only interested in whether or not the assignments fit her agenda.

    Course highlights:

At the beginning the teacher showed some motivation to help the students, but after the first few weeks she just started criticising everything based on opinion.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind and don't speak your opinion.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a smaller class, making it easier to get close with the professor and other students. This class is beyond beneficial for all writing. Not only that, but Emery is absolutely a sweetheart. If you give effort, she will help you in return. Plus the class gives you room to grow with your writing ideas and the way you may write. Not only that but many opportunities are given to talk with peers about your projects or getting feedback on papers. I cannot express the importance of talking with others enough, some of the best ideas are made from sharing thoughts.

    Course highlights:

I don't even know where to begin. I hated English Classes, until my first semester at this class. Before college, we are given assignments that are mapped out of what is wanted. In this class, a large portion is writing down and exploring your thoughts. I learned more about writing good papers in this 15 week semester, than I did throughout my many years of public education. Not only that but I gained confidence in my writing, which is extremely important. All in all, this course was absolutely amazing and I am so thankful I took this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read absolutely every reading that is assigned, even if it may look 'too long'. This will be extremely beneficial in expanding your mind and giving you ideas for future writings. Not only that but discuss with the professor or students about anything you're unsure about. Whether it is your writing, the class schedule, or you're in need of ideas, just make sure you're speaking up. This class is beyond beneficial and you will not be sorry.
