    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is one of those unfortunate required classes that has little to no connection to your major, but supposedly teaches you Core academic concepts. There are 4 or 5 subjects to choose from and they cycle through new ones each semester. I specifically chose the Science Fiction route. All of the professors were kind of a joke and didn't have any real structure.

    Course highlights:

I did get to watch a bunch of cool science fiction movies that I had not seen before taking this class. Other than that there was no connection to my schooling career and no new skills gained.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just stick with it. It's going to be tough because you will have to put in a lot of work for very little pay out, but it's a required class. You do have UF 200 to look forward to, which I thought was much more important.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

this is a 100 level course with the difficulty of 400 level one.

    Course highlights:

you learn a lot about how to research and connect research together into something that is coherent.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

pick a simple topic like really simple. but make sure its something you will enjoy studying all semester.
