Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are looking for a course with a professor who genuinely loves their job and wants their students to succeed and the ability to improve your Spanish speaking skills, this is the perfect course to take. By far, this is my favorite class and professor this school year!

    Course highlights:

This course has helped my improve my speaking and listening skills. My favorite part of this course is the 'chateos'. Kelly assigns you a partner at the same level as you and once every two weeks you get a topic and just have a recorded conversation with each other. After you have recorded it, and a week goes by, you sit down and listen to it again. As you listen, you make corrections to grammar and suggest better ways to say things for future reference. Although it can be a little painful listening to your voice on recording, it really helps your ability to identify errors. One of the biggest things I learned was it is okay to make mistakes while speaking because that is how you learn a language. Don't be afraid to speak the language!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class it is important that you study vocabulary, ask questions, and participate in conversation in class. Kelly is a fantastic professor and if you put the effort in to do your best, she will reciprocate the effort.
