    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Having an adjunct professor gives you a lot of real life experiences and taking advantage of your service learning hours is amazing!

    Course highlights:

Service learning. You have to complete 45 hours, and it is so crucial to get a social work experience from there. Mine even turned into a paid job.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If social work is something you are seriously considering pursuing, this is a great course to finalize those plans.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are interested in social work, it is a must take class. Not only as a required course, but it gives you a rich background in social work history. You will also have the opportunity to work in a social service doing volunteer work to see if this is the industry you wish to go into. You will also gain valuable skills in working with others.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about how to work with clients, which is useful in any setting! It was also so fun to learn about the history of social services in America and around the world. It also helped me to get out of my comfort zone and work with people I may never otherwise work with. Very valuable class if you decide a social service field for career.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the material, engage in class, and don't be afraid to ask questions.
