    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It gives you the basics of steering and suspension of automobiles. Even if you are not planing repairing cars for a living you can repair your own to save thousands of dollars over a life time. Even if you don't fix your vehicles, you can understand what you are being told by a mechanic and you are less likely to be taken advantage of.

    Course highlights:

Lab time where you get to repair real customer vehicles.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy a harbor freight tool box they are great. Craftsman tool are perfect for this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the material covered will not only just help you on a career path, but also help you know how to save money by doing things yourself on your own vehicle. The teacher is willing to work and help you in any way that he can. All you have to do if you struggle is talk to him and he will make sure that you succeed.

    Course highlights:

I gained a knowledge of the brake systems and how they work in vehicles. I enjoyed this because I really didn't know much on how they work. I am able to do brake service on my own vehicle now and save a lot of money.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

On homework assignments don't allow yourself to keep choosing until you get the right answer then move on. Go and figure out why that wasn't the right answer and why it was the other answer.
