Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! It really helped me towards my major and I had a niece who was going through a lot of the developmental stages we went over so it was fun to see her grow along the lines of what I was learning about!

    Course highlights:

Oh similar to the review. I learned how important Development is and truly how little I knew about it so this course helped a lot!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If it is for your major definitely take it right off the bat it will help you build a foundation on children's development and help you for the rest of the courses necessary in the future!

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the professor is upbeat and is always doing her best to ensure the students get the most out of this class! She makes is easy for the students to study and gives you the answers you need to do the courses work. She tries her hardest to work with every student so that we are all successful.

    Course highlights:

I learned the different stages of development a child goes through.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class! She will help you as long as you put the effort.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed this course. I learned a lot about child development. I feel that much of what I learned will be useful to me when I become a parent, and perhaps even now as I watch my younger siblings grow up. I took this class online, so the course work was fairly self-paced, although there were due dates every two weeks.

    Course highlights:

As aforementioned, this was a child development course, thus, I learned a lot about the stages of childhood from early infancy though young adulthood. The textbook of the course was set up in a sequential order for the different stages. This course gave me insight into what I should expect when I have children of my own. One important aspect of child development that I learned is that each child is different in every way, including learning abilities and pace of learning, but regardless, each child develops in the same sequence.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A key component to being successful in this course is simply to make sure you do all assigned reading. Reading the material will help you to gain the knowledge you need to complete assignments. I recommend having a highlighter nearby or taking notes along with the reading.
