    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I think if you could understand the book, you would be pretty well off. however, although brother waddel knows his stuff, he is difficult to learn from in the way that he confuses more than helps. Again, this is based on personal experience, and some may be well off if they could understand the way that he teaches.

    Course highlights:

I was able to keep the book, and continue even after the class to learn tricks to help me to understand basic grammar as well as exceptions and rules that help you to apply this to your learning

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, I would say you would need both a study buddy as well as some time with the T.A. Using the book itself after class is also extremely helpful.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You learn so much about the written word in this class! I wouldn't want to take it from any other teacher because Bro. Hartvigsen has a way of making you interested in learning grammar! Actually, I had him for 4 different classes, and this is the course I liked him best for!

    Course highlights:

Diagramming! Those were super fun, and often difficult. I also enjoyed a short history of were different English words originated from! This class is so helpful when it comes to grammar and punctuation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Find a diagramming website, and PRACTICE!!!! Also, sit closer to the front of the class. It makes it easier to see, pay attention, and ask questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class did incredible things to my grasp of the English language, but be warned, it is not easy! You have to really do your homework and focus on what you're learning. Each principle builds on the previous one, so if you just skip a week you'll find that you're very confused.

    Course highlights:

It canvasses the basic sentence structures, how to diagram a sentence, syntax, and basically everything you need to know about the English language. My favorite part was putting together verbs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't miss a class. Seriously, don't miss a class. And make sure you take it from a teacher who has a love of grammar because that will make it much easier for you!
