    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course is not really informative in and of itself, it was more about what I learned about myself while taking the course.

    Course highlights:

In taking life skills I realized that I am little too cocky when it comes to school. I learned to humble myself because there is so much out there left for me to learn. I also learned I have some unhealthy habits that keep me from using time productively and the course offered ways to help convince myself to spend less time binge watching Netflix and spend time growing as an individual by do things like learning new hobbies and mediating,

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't blow off classes that seem stupid because if you intently listen to each lesson, you hear the things you really needed to hear. Courses are required for a reason, no one really wants to take them, but you need to learn new things or at least be reminded of things you have forgotten.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great place for people to start if they have to start from scratch. It will help you get back into the rhythm of school, homework and tests, all while teaching you valuable life skills. Everything you learn in this course will be of use to you and very helpful throughout life. This class is for students young and old and encourages everybody to follow their dreams.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned to be a student and a teacher, I learned to have dreams and how to turn them into goals. I learned how to manage my time efficiently and how to study. I also learned the importance of work and how to manage my finances and lastly I learned about family life and giving back. Not only did I learn all these great things but I also made great friends and became a better me.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This is not a work at your own pace course. You have requirements you have to meet and deadlines you have to stick to. It is not for students who don't really want to work. Not only will you have to put effort into your work but you also have to put personality into it. This course is all about improving yourself and your life. You will learn a lot of things and make a bunch of friends. This course is great.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think that being a freshman at college is kind of scary for everyone. For me personally was a little bit anxious about how I was going to find all of my classes, how I was going to be on time, what I should bring, and how to make friends and create relationships in all of your classes so you can create study groups! This is the perfect class for all freshman because this class walks you through everything from Financial Aid to Maps of the school to how to get a tutor is covered in this class. This class also contains Lab work that is only for your benefit! One that I remember and still use to this day is a Lab where we were assigned to seek out a tutor and schedule one appointment with them. I made a good friend and got help with a class in the same Lab! I think it's really helpful for anyone just starting out as a college freshman.

    Course highlights:

I really loved at the beginning of the course when we were going over all of the resources that the school provided because I felt like I always knew where to look for help when I had a problem. I never felt confused about if there was a resource to help for that because I knew all of the resources and there is no where else that teaches you those things. It was a lot easier then trying to find where to go and seeking them out yourself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There was Prep work that was required before every class, when I did it I felt like I was much more prepared for the discussion that we were going to have in class. I think that it's really cool when the class all had done the same reading and we could reference it in the discussion. I think that if you want to succeed in this class, it's important and mandatory to do the prep work.
