    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is very beneficial if you are unfamiliar with the college experience. It gives you study tips, help with career decision making, and guides you on using the school website and what is in each building, among other things.

    Course highlights:

I learned about some very helpful study techniques. I learned about some career decision making websites. I learned more about my learning style and personality. I learned the importance of creating and committing to a budget for money AND time. As a hesitant, unconfident freshman, this class helped give me the tools and confidence I needed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You should attend class everyday and complete all of the assignments. They are not hard, you just have to make sure that you keep complete and keep track of all of them as you will probably be keeping them in a binder that you will turn in at the end for a grade and as a future refence guide.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a way to take a college course that is helpful with every other course you are enrolled in. It allows you to get a feeling for the level of difficulty, and the workload expected in college witrout fully submerging yourself. It is also a highly uplifting class that is not only about improving your college experience, but also improving yourself. It's a class that helps you to improve everyday, to feel accomplished and to calm any nervous student, that is not sure if college is for them.

    Course highlights:

I learned about becoming a leader by way of example and how everyone is a leader in some way or form. This course taught how having a firm relationship with your roommates allows you to have an apartment that is filled with love and kindness. I learned how to communicate with classmates as well as with my professor. He taught us how to keep ourselves organized, and the most effective ways for studying (he provided many options and then he left the decision up to us, as to which method is the most effective for us personally). I learned that college is not easy, but it is worth the time and effort if you really care about getting an education and developing relationships with others.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a wonderful class to take if you want to improve your experience at college. It gives you an overview of what you will here from all your other professors, and how to deal with problems and situations that you might encounter. At first it might just seem like a pointless class that is simple and easy to understand, but I gained so much from it because I wanted to. I wanted to do better in college and to be a better person, this course helped me accomplish that. It's not a course that's about competition, rather it's about growth.
