    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course, because of the fun things you get to learn about the Earth. The types of things you get to learn about volcanoes, rocks, and minerals will make you see the Earth in a different light.

    Course highlights:

All sorts of different minerals, rocks, and Earth formations. The field trip to the Grand Canyon was one of the best parts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get into the lab and study those minerals and rocks. Make sure you know the minerals by heart, because once you study rocks, it will get a lot more difficult.

The field trip to the Grand Canyon. I learned a lot but mostly about the Great Unconformity.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to keep up with the pre-class reading assignments, it makes the class lectures a lot more meaningful.
