Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has made me understand about infectious diseases. This helps awareness for vaccination.

    Course highlights:

The main focus of this course was bacteria, virus, and prion diseases. The course breaks down how each of these types of diseases function. It explains what different diseases can do and how they have discovered cures or methods of prevention.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to have an interest in biology. Make sure you study concepts and how things work first. After, start to memorize the facts. That will help you understand the material faster.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have absolutely loved this class, it has been so interesting and fun to learn about different bacteria and viruses. Brother Dewall is a great teacher, they don't come any better than him. He makes class so fun, and so easy to learn.

    Course highlights:

Well for starters, all Brother Dewall's tests are write on, and the first two he had a draw pictures of the bacteria we learned about. It was really fun, I'd never had another teacher who wanted us to draw pictures. I learned so much about bacteria, and we are just getting into viruses now. It is really interesting to learn about the viruses and bacteria that are harmful to humans and know what they can cause.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely tell other students to study, study, study. When you start learning about viruses and bacteria "to know" as Brother Dewall puts it, seriously study those so when you take the tests you know what they are. Also, be ready to see some nasty pictures and to learn about what some bacteria and viruses can do to human bodies.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

First, I want to say the teacher was Sheena Chaston, they didn't have her listed under "Professors." She is an online teacher and is fantastic. There's quite a bit of reading like any online course, but she does her a great job at answering questions and going over the most important material. She makes sure you apply what you learn through different case studies and projects. She's probably the best online teacher I've had so far.

    Course highlights:

Thanks to the case studies I've been able to remember what I've learned better then I otherwise would. One of the highlights is that the teacher actually wants us to learn the material, and not just get good grades. So she focuses a lot on the students and giving feedback.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can give is to do all of you're reading and activities thoroughly. Pay attention to the extra study helps as well. Also, ask a lot of questions.
