    Course Overview:

    The environment in this classroom was great! Having this experience is a crucial way to start off your teaching career.

    Course highlights:

    I learned several aspects of the teaching world that I had never before knew existed. It feels that you are going to class learning everyday things but when you're able to apply them into the classroom then it calls for something special.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you don't take your readings in the classroom for granted. You get what you put into this class so if you come to class prepared and have the understanding from the readings then you will be in for a good class session.

    Course Overview:

    Wow! What a fantastic course! This is a great class to take no matter if you know for sure you want to be a teacher or if you still aren't sure. By the end of it you will know for sure whether or not it is for you. Also, Deb Yates is a wonderful lady and a fantastic professor! She encourages you and is very understanding when it comes to personal matters.

    Course highlights:

    We learned how to be an effective teachers and we were able to go to the Middleton school district to student teach. This experience is great, because we were given the opportunity to get into the classroom right off the bat.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take the course and have fun with it! What you put into the class is what you will take out, so put your best effort in and you will be grateful that you did.

    Course Overview:

    This class introduces the philosophy of the school's education department. It requires field experience that allows you to get some experience and help you decide if teaching is right for you.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight of this course was teaching a lesson in a middle school.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Get everything out of it that you can, this is a class for helping you becomes a great teacher, it's not just about the material and the grade.
