Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course because I have learned a lot about our society.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Deb makes this class informative, discussion based, and lots of fun even though it is a giant lecture hall.

    Course highlights:

The amount of information that I retained from this course is incredible! Deb is an amazing teacher, and she makes me want to pursue a degree in sociology.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! You will get the best learning experience by going to class. Other students have very relevant life experiences that they will share.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a big lecture style class and is very boring. The teacher doesn't make an effort to connect with her students and the tests are relatively scattered on material she teaches and also doesn't. Most learning comes through inquisitive and is mostly memorization.

    Course highlights:

I have gained a prerequisite out of the way towards my major. I learned about a lot of the different theories that revolve around sociology, which connected well into my major. I, also, learned about the multitudes of reasons to why people do the things they do and how they justify these actions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would take it to get it out of the way of the general ed requirements. Although I didn't like the way it was taught, the information presented is useful in further classes. It honestly wasn't terrible to take just a lot of memorization and suffering through a lecture.
