    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely difficult if you don't think the way he does. It basically teaches a new way to look at math, which is tough enough on its own, but he teaches under the assumption you know some of the basic concepts already. I wouldn't take it if you aren't prepared to spend a good amount of time doing your own research and attempting to figure out a lot on your own.

    Course highlights:

It was really rewarding and interesting learning an entirely new way to look at math, we didn't even add numbers until about a month was left in the class! It provided a way to look at computer science in math terms, which is really helpful for a CS degree.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It really helps to have a friend in the class to bounce ideas off, to figure out new concepts. Not an easy course at all, expect to spend a good amount of time researching the material and trying to use it in the problems assigned.
