Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Matt is a fantastic professor and the class was easy to follow if you paid attention and took good notes.

    Course highlights:

This course really helps to improve your public speaking skills, as well as hone some research skills for your Argumentative and Persuasive Presentations. You learn to more clearly view arguments and the logical falllacies that people use to make their positions seem strong and convincing, and how to use rhetorical devices such as syllogisms, enthemymes, and different methods of refutation to make clear, logical, and convincing arguments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the reading assignments in the book and start your speeches early. The Argumentation and Persuasion Presentations need time well spent researching and structuring, so don't procrastinate if you want a good grade.
