    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This teacher has a very different style of teaching you should change to a different teacher if you don't understand it. She is a very good and smart teacher just not the one for me in the course of a math class.

    Course highlights:

I failed the class because I didn't comprehend how she taught

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure you understand the teaching style

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course, but most will have to take it for one class or another. I felt it wasn't super difficult as long as you completed the homework. That was basically everything on the tests. There was a lot of online work in addition to the two nights a week and out of class homework. There were a lot of kids who were taking it for the third time, but I think that's their fault, not the professor's. I passed on the first try.

    Course highlights:

It was certainly wholesome. She went through all of algebra II/precalculus concepts you could need. There was no trigonometry in it. It was specific on the rules of exponents and logarithms which was nice. Sometimes, she covered the real-world applications, but it wasn't often and wasn't on the tests.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to have a lot of work. That's just how math is. You really have to repeat things over and over to get them, but try not to get frustrated. If you can't figure a problem out, try to think of the concept you just learned that you might be testing on, and think of how they might want you to answer. Always take notes. Even if you don't know the answer, still give it a shot! The professor can always give points on the process even if the answer is incorrect.
