    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class. It was such an open and flexible curriculum that allowed for free discussion between classmates and teacher as well. Professor Thorpe never asserted his authority in the classroom and was instead seen more as an equal, adding insight and experience to all discussions.

    Course highlights:

This class followed the textbook that went along with it completely. Each week, chapter readings were done, meaning the textbook is necessary to have during this course. Eight labs were also required for this course, really helping to set in the information from the book. Overall, everything from this course taught me about child development completely.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you attend class! Not only are you missing out on the information, but you're missing out on a lot of really fun discussions. This class is borderline student lead, so you'll also want to be sure you're comfortable with speaking in class.
