    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you love biology and have the motivation to read every-night definitely take this class, she knows what she is talking about. If you have no interest in Biology and have trouble memorizing facts this class is not for you!

    Course highlights:

One of the things I loved about this class was how she would teach us about Biology, but she would also apply it to real life or how it would affect us. She taught us a lot about food and its affects on us as well which I enjoyed. She would also share personal stories from her life and applied them to the lessons which made it more personal.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work really hard for tests. She is an extremely hard grader so you better know your stuff when it comes to short answer.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My teacher was a hard grader but really taught the material well. I was able to learn about Biology and then see the bigger picture in my everyday life with many examples that we talked about in class. The professor was very knowledgable and seemed to have a passion for the subject.

    Course highlights:

I learned a large amount of information regarding biology and how many of the intricate systems in our body work. I learned about all sorts of relationships between the body and things in our environment and was able to relate my teachings in the class room to real world experiences and examples. The tests and quizzes were cumulative so that helped me remember and retain the entirety of Gen Bio 1.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do it. But be prepared to do work and to study. If you love biology and want to learn in depth material, the course is the right one and with the right teacher. If you try and put in the effort, the grade comes out the right way and you'll be a better student for the knowledge gained.
