Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a needed course- you cannot skip it. It is a fundamental class that you must take in order to pass your first year at the college. But despite it being a needed course, it is very helpful and quite fun.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches us how to draw the human figure from life. We have models who come in and we learn how to measure the body, how to use different mediums, and how to render our pieces in a way that appears to be realistic and life-like. This course can be dry at times, but over the 5 or so months I've had it, I have learned so much and have gotten loads of help from the teacher and my peers.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up too soon. Not everyone will be a professional life drawing artist on day one. It takes time, work, patience, and persistence. You won't get anywhere if you just want to be on your phone all class period. You have to be sure to pay attention to detail, and never get tired of your work. You need to stay focused and you mustn't make haphazard decisions.
