    Course Overview:

    This is a great overview of The internal and external factors that effect an organization's behavior. The course content/topics are very interesting and have been brought up in many other classes.

    Course highlights:

    Talks about how organizations work, how they respond to change, and how you can help your organization better prepare for change. You are introduced to many management and leadership styles and get to assess your organization as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    I would take this course as early in the program as possible. It covered lots of foundational concepts that will prove to be helpful later in the program.

    Course Overview:

    Org Behavior is a great introductory course. It introduces you to many of the foundational concepts of Org Behavior and helps you to understand what you can do to affect change in your current organization. Dr. Sorensen is very wise and Jennifer is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend taking this course with Dr. Sorensen and Jennifer.

    Course highlights:

    I gained an in-depth understanding of different management styles, leadership styles, organization assessment tools, and other important elements of understanding organizational fit. We spent a lot of time assessing our organization and discussing what we can do to make it better. I really enjoyed this class and learned a lot overall.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    I would recommend that you read as many of the articles in the required text as possible. These articles will give you a really good understanding of the different styles and will be the key to unlock your knowledge and understanding of this topic.
