Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Whitley is very old. She teaches at a very slow pace and does not do a vey good job of telling you what is due and when. She relies heavily on the syllabus

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of new vocabulary and some different writing structures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure your essays are perfect grammatically. Show up everyday if she sees that a lot of people are not present she will do a quiz and all who were absent will miss out on those points.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course with this teacher because he is a well educated man who has a lot to offer to us students. This course is a good fundamental course for people who will be taking classes that require plenty of creative writing.

    Course highlights:

He had us reading materials I have never heard of. The material may not seem significant at first but everything he has us read about or watch leads to a greater reason.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to what he has to say, read the material, and watch the videos. Even if they don't make sense all the material, if utilized well, will significantly improve the way you read, write, and your creative thought processes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was a dual enrollment through my high school (Moline Senior High School). The course challenged myself and my peers to dig deeper and understand literature while learning better writing skills to make the required papers more interesting for he professor.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly write essays focusing more in depth on things like subject verb placement and adding more descriptive adjectives to each sentence. Also, we learned how to follow basic English laws that many people seem to forget

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take the time to study and make each essay interesting for the professor. Work hard on each essay given, and don't put it off until the last minute.
