    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You will remember everything you are tested on if go through the class as the professor wants you to.

    Course highlights:

A general sense of biology and a better understanding of what happens in your body everyday.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Talk to the professor every chance you have. This is not a typical bio class where you just have to memorize things. This requires critical thinking which is actually easier when you get used to it because you won't waste time morning tedious details.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved the teacher. He seemed to love what he taught and was incredibly knowledgeable in his field. He also new how to interact with students and understood our views on the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were probably the labs we did. I loved the hands on training, especially in a general education class. Throughout the course I learned a lot about biology that I never learned in my high school biology class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking the course and have this teacher, then all you need to do is study when he tells you to and show up to class. If you do these two things, you are almost guaranteed a B or above.

    Great introduction to the subject.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part was certainly learning about the components of DNA and phospholipid bilayers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take really good notes and study hard before the tests. The material is super easy, there's just a lot of it.
