Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course probably wouldn't have been as awesome as it was without Beth our professor. She is so patient and wonderful. She is really good with her demonstrations! You do not need prior knowledge of sewing to take this class but it's a really good to take sewing essentials or have at least a basic understanding because the class starts out slow with some samples of techniques but when we get started on garments we start to move pretty quickly. But if a student is having trouble Beth is really awesome at answering questions and re-demonstrating things.

    Course highlights:

The class was really small (like 8-10 students) so it was more intimate and easier to ask for help when needed. You definitely learn a lot and I really improved during this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is labor intensive. Even if you are on your A-game during class time, still expect to work outside of class on projects. The class itself is like 4 hours long and then you might spend a few hours in the fashion lab on homework.
