    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Mort is a fantastic and passionate professor and teaches you how to write comics and how the comic business works.

    Course highlights:

    The final project was a highlight. Seeing your comic writing come to life is beyond exciting.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Start writing from the beginning and automatically find your artist.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It's a fiction writing class that challenges students to incorporate an experience into your written work. Capturing the essence of a fiction story and fleshing it into a real feeling. You dig into your writing and become more involved than every before, leading to incredibly development and understanding of your own skills.

    Course highlights:

    My writing has never been so well fleshed out or dug into. I reached a level within my own work I didn't even know I could.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    You have to be able to sit and really work on your writing. Definitely not a do the night before it's due, type of space. And be willing to engage in fellow student's work and get to know your the voice of your classmates.

    Course Overview:

    I would definitely recommend this class to anyone, even if they aren't a writing major. This class teaches you the fundamentals of storytelling. It destructs the writing process and really gets the creativity flowing.

    Course highlights:

    I learned to use flow and really let a story come to me. I was able to immerse myself in the process and get a lot more description on the page.

    Advice for students:

    If you want to write in any capacity take this class. It will help you immensely.
