    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It gives a very thorough overview of fiction, including fiction written by minorities.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning a bit more about studying the meaning behind some works, as well as how fiction has given many different groups a chance to make their voices heard.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor Allen loves details and loves it when you dig deeper into what you're studying. It makes the course difficult, but also leaves you with a greater understanding of fiction, which is necessary if you plan on majoring in English.
