Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is essential in getting familiarized with Protools and the things you are able to do within the program. You will also get exercises and projects within the class that emphasize the importance of knowing exactly what you are doing in the digital audio workstation, rather than just relying on presets and luck to solve your problems.

    Course highlights:

The projects in the class really helped showcase a student's creativity, while allowing them to learn new techniques along the way. Important topics, such as side-chain compressing, working on Protools for video, and troubleshooting were just a couple of important things we learned in the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I definitely recommend taking notes and studying for the tests. Also be sure to thoroughly read the checklist for labs and projects.
