There are no tests or quizzes, but still pay attention.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course to all incoming freshman because it does a great job of teaching you how to transition from high school to college or professional writing. We change over to a more professional format of writing(APA), and the professors really take time to help every student one-on-one.

    Course highlights:

One of the best things about this course is that the professors really encourage you to write about your passions and your life. This makes it a whole lot easier for the students, and creates an enjoyable class environment. Everybody gets to learn about each other and interact with each other by giving constructive feedback on each others work. This style of teaching is very effective in my opinion because it brings the most out of the whole class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is not hard to succeed in this course because everything you write about is centered around you. Unless you are not invested in yourself or your own future you will succeed in this class. Professor Fruits also loves working with students one-on-one so you are always getting constructive feedback on a weekly basis.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging and involves a lot of writing, but it pushes me to do my best.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write a lot better with this professor. She really takes the time to help you whenever you need it, and she gives great feedback on your papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate. If you fall behind, it is hard to catch up because there are a lot of writing assignments three times a week.
