Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for students studying Communications or CLEG. Although it is a requirement for both majors, it is the perfect intro course to learning about writing in a way that most students have not yet experienced.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were covering a broad range of writing styles, from news, to broadcast, to press releases, and even movie reviews. In only one semester I was able to practice many styles of writing and apply them to different scenarios such as non-profits and writing for the press.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get familiar with a lot of in class typing! You don't have to focus too heavily on notes, but definitely ask questions when you need to.

    Advice for students:

Ask for help if you don't understand what the professor is asking for because writing is the most important part of journalism.
