Marketing is a very exciting course that is all about participation and group activity. It's lectures use real-life cases to illustrate the beauty of marketing. A online competition is used in order to involve the student in what marketing is all about. The course asks some participation, but not in a bad way.
We learned all the basics of marketing and how to use them in an online simulation. For those interested, there was also extra content available on digital marketing, which is getting bigger and bigger in the 21th century. Marketing really built on the course Strategy and Organization. It expands what is thought here and focusses on how to create more value for a business.

Participate in class and read the chapters in advance. This gives you a serious advantage in the final exam, which is a huge part of your final mark. Also, find a group of people that you can really work well with, this helps big time in the group project.
