Pretty easy, overall.
A very entertaining and insightful course. One learns plentiful about alternative investment vehicles (Hedge funds, PE funds etc). However, course is very qualitative and the course might be somewhat misleading.
What you gain is an understanding of how alternative investment vehicles are structured and what form they can take. Holding periods, remuneration schemes, exit techniques, investment scope etc. of Private Equity firms, Hedge funds and others are discussed. This is definitely very valuable. The final exam is extremely easy, thus a good grade is easy to atain.

Advice for students:
For the final exam, concentrate on broad qualitative knowledge. Do not spend much time on actual calculations.
