Professor Newsom while he knows his stuff is very bad at conveying that knowledge in a classroom setting

Lots of visual diagrams when he teaches if that helps you

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to teach yourself a large portion of the material

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you ever get the chance to take a chemistry class with Meyer, i STRONGLY suggest you take it. She is very knowledgeable and so helpful. If you're not one who likes to raise to their hand to ask questions, she'll ask them for you. She breaks every topic down into steps so that you understand it better.

    Course highlights:

The helpfulness from Meyer and the positive learning environment has helped me learn basic intro chemistry to the max.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. I'm not joking. Even if you think you understand the material, it is very important to take the time to review and study your notes. The exams are hard and long. You get review packets but they are almost nothing like the exam so be sure you know your stuff, DO NOT ASSUME. You will fail. I can promise you that.
