    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Schlictman has wealth of knowledge on the subject and a lot energy and enthusiasm about it. He balances allowing and testing students' opinions about topics and themes of the readings with his own expertise in a way that I have rarely seen done so well. The course also takes students through great scholarship of various ideas, which offers a comprehensive knowledge of gentrification and urban space.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were learning macro-level schools of thought on gentrification since the terms inception as well as practical examples in various international environments. It gives a good basis of understanding while being grounded in empirical observations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Simply actively read the assigned readings and be active in class. You'll learn the most and enjoy the class if you stay involved and challenge yourself and others.
