Great Intro to the Subject
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This class genuinely changed my life. Professor Signorotti requires you to read a book about semiotics (which seems difficult to comprehend at first, but becomes part of you through practice). Her lectures feel more like private conversations that are always kept interesting and entertaining. Her syllabus is organized and flexible to the needs of her students. She truly has a passion for what she teaches and it's enough to inspire even the least interested student into caring about the coursework.
Professor Signorotti was hands down the best part about this course. Had it been taught by anyone else, it probably wouldn't have been so favorable. The semiotics text book is a rare example of something that can actually be applied to the outside world and not just a necessary tool for passing the class involved. I have taken what I've learned from that textbook and used it for essays in multiple classes, and I've even purchased my own copy of it since I rented it at the time.

Advice for students:
Go to class. This cannot be stressed enough. The subject matter inside the semiotics text is dense and hard to learn on your own. If you attend class regularly, Signorotti will ease the pain of its contents through her flawless explanations.
