    Course Overview:

    The Principles of Management course is vital for anyone planning a career in business or management. The course project gave students the opportunity to work with classmates to research, gather and collaborate to determine if and how a company applied the principles of management and what affect the application had on the companies efficiency.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the levels of management and the purpose and responsibilities of each level. I also learned the principles of management, their purpose and how applying these principles could effect the productivity of a company when applied. The course provided learning on motivating and empowering employees. The benefits of a diverse culture and how a strong organizational structure will result in an efficient and profitable company

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    My best advice would be to read the course material and complete all exercises as well as taking the opportunity to read business magazines and articles.
