    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course hs been an eye opener for me. It has answered so many questions that we might struggle with in today's society. Especially this professor who made the material stick to you in a humorous and memorable way.

    Course highlights:

Like I said, you learn many of the issues in today's society. Also touch on the different religions and how Christianity responds to them. We touch on Biblical Worldviews and how to shape it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take advantage of the extra credit and study for the tests which are not that hard.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. This is a fantastic course that challenges the mind while not being academically difficult. It seeks to help each student define how they see the world and how others see the world so that they can effectively and respectfully communicate with others in order to make the world a better place.

    Course highlights:

During this course I learned that a worldview is the way by which we see the world around us, and that while not everyone may be aware of their worldview, that everyone does in fact have a world view. I learned about different common worldviews that are held by those from different cultures and religions and how to communicate well with people from different worldviews from mine. I learned about what it means to think critically and approach every situation in a way that leaves me learning and not simply walking away without learning anything new.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

What I would recommend the most is that you never forget your workbook, as it's a pain to copy down from others later so you know what to study for the tests. Make sure to take time at least a couple days before each test to put some good study time in and review all of the study guide topics. And finally it's very helpful to make sure to do the required readings before class because it helps you remember to both do the quiz that comes with each reading and be more well prepared for the topic of that class period.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to a friend because for one thing it is a graduation requirement. Also, this class really digs deep into God's word and it is a very enjoyable class. I would definitely have to say that after this class I have a better outlook of the world and I am able to better defend my faith.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Van Engen was definitely a huge highlight because he is very personable and he made this course quite enjoyable. After this class my worldview is so much clearer.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to keep up with the quizzes on blackboard. I know that this may not seem that important but trust me, it is. It is very easy to miss a quiz and if you are not doing well in the class, the quizzes are crucial to your grade.
