    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provides students with a solid foundation in the sort of probability and statistical analysis that they will encounter as engineers. The course has a good blend of problem-solving and projects.

    Course highlights:

The best parts of the course include fun and practical statistics projects. Teams of students would be tasked with choosing a statistical study, gathering data, performing analysis, testing hypotheses, writing a report, and presenting the results to the class. These group projects gave students the opportunity to develop teamwork skills, presentation skills, and statistical analysis skills.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is vital to do the homework and put your best effort into the projects. Statistics is a skill set which can truly only be understood and developed through hands-on effort. It is also recommended that the students pay close attention to in-class lectures and problem-solving, as the book that is typically used for this course is not always as helpful as it could be.
