    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is very challenging, because it makes you think about your future. It makes you second-guess your major, but it is a good thing because it reminds you about your goal. It makes you get motivated and get you to do what it takes to reach your goal.

    Course highlights:

I have learned that high school biology simple compared to how in depth this course goes.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't do as good as you wanted to on the first exam, it's okay. All you have to do is study harder and you are going to have to put having fun in college to the side.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course lays the foundation for concepts throughout Biology, and therefore is applicable to almost every other Biology course. Also, Dr. Sattler spends time with students making sure they grasp the material instead of flying ahead in the material.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the funny joke Dr. Sattler told, and the amazingly interesting information. We learned about ATP synthase, which is a very interesting protein, which acts like a turbine to create ATP, the energy currency of the cell.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Spend time in the textbook. It is extremely beneficial to read the chapter material before the lecture on the material, so that you can begin to recognize concepts earlier.
