Not too easy. Not too difficult.

This class is a must for all students wanting to study Pastoral counseling. It gives a great overview of what you can expect when you are working in the career and also the ethics behind becoming a pastoral counselor.

    Course highlights:

I really loved learning some of the ethics of being a pastoral counselor as well as learning that not every pastor is really cut out for the counseling aspect of being a pastor.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work. If you have questions about any of the work ask the instructor early do not wait until the last minute.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Mario asked us to provide our personal contact info so that we could interact and communicate freely throughout this course. He set up a Question and Answer Center so that students could communicate with students and with him. I am grateful that he initiated so many modes of communication for online students who may have felt isolated prior to taking his course.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned what my personality is so that I could view potential clients more objectively. Each human being has a different personality and I learned how to verbalize my responses so as to avoid inappropriate conflict with potential clients while being 'present'.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course immediately after the required psychology courses or right after human growth and development so that your previously gleaned material is fresh for easy access.
