    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would totally recommend this course because I already have to more than one person. There is so much that Doctor Brown teaches you in this course about the basics of youth ministry and how you can apply it to life and even your future ministry.

    Course highlights:

Some of the things I learned was what types of different events that there were when you are teaching unsaved versus saved students and even why he does what he does so we can do what we do. This class is so amazing because he teaches application and not just information. While he does teach information there is no project that we do no paper that we do that does not have a purpose for either future ministry or for the local church that you are involved in.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would have would be to keep the workbook that you get at the beginning of the semester as well as bring an extra notebook to take extra notes in because he is always giving bits and pieces of information that apply that he does not put on the exams but they are still biblically founded notions that apply directly to ministry.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course based on the background knowledge of the professor alone. If I could doubly recommend him based on his way of teaching while covering all the material is amazing. The Lord's hand is definitely at work in Richard Brown.

    Course highlights:

I learned the purpose behind why youth ministry is so important, the different types of events that there are, and how to best connect with the youth on a spiritual level. The highlights of this course was the energizing feeling and the enthusiasm that Doc Brown brought to class every day while teaching an introductory class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You, as a student, will definitely need the work text and an extra notebook for all of the bits of information he gives you along the way. It is seriously an amazing course with or without the necessity for the major.
