Meetings Outside of Class
This class was tough.
This course provides the understanding of how our genes regulate and how they mutate. Dr. Issac is an absolutely wonderful professor who has a complete understanding for material making class enjoyable while still learning about the intricate nature of the genetic genome
The highlight of the course was writing a research paper about a specific gene. It allowed me to take everything that Dr. Issac had taught me to fully understand the different research papers I was reading. I also loved learning about the different ways to turn on and off a gene through lac operon and tryp operon.

Advice for students:
Read the text book after every lecture. Do every practice problem he assigns and more. Doing practice problems online will help a lot. This class is on of the toughest classes taught at Liberty University for science majors but it is the most rewarding.
