    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is necessary to become a public health professional. It teaches the fundamentals of biostatistics which will be a huge part of a public health professional. This course was not an easy course as it involves crunchy numbers and understanding formulas.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned how to apply formulas which are used in statistics in public health matters. I learned the importance of understanding the statistics and how they can be used to provide estimations and hypotheses for future epidemics which may arise.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important piece of advise I can give any student considering this course is to prepare many hours to ensure they understand the material. The exams and quizzes are't multiple choice and will be multi-step problems. Additionally, it is important to take advantage of the practice problems as they will help with the weekly assignments.
