Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very useful to understand how the brain works. I would also recommend this course because it is an eye-opener to all that you can do with a Psychology major.

    Course highlights:

I learned that there is more to a psychologist than counseling. I also learned that there are many different approaches to understanding how a person's mind works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to keep in contact with their Professor during this course as there is a lot of information in this class. Students who do not like a lot of reading or writing should not take this class as there is a writing assignment every week and 50-100 pages of textbook to read every week.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course introduces students to the basic theories of human behavior. I believe anyone who is planning on working with people should take this class. Psychology 101 not only helps us to understand ourselves but others as well. If we think about human behavior in depth then we are more equipped to help others.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal in this class. I better understand my own behavior and the behavior of others. This class teaches the workings of the brain and the rest of the nervous system. It covers the nature and the nurture of our behaviors. The very best thing about this class is that it relates everything back to God and His creation, the human being.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for a lot of work. This class is tough, but well worth the effort. Plan to spend time reading your textbook nearly everyday. Read all sections in the book; you will find many test questions come from the extra sections of the book. Also, remember that some of the test questions will be asking you to apply a theory, not simply pull an answer from the text.
