    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging, so if you love a good challenge, then by all means go for it! However, if you are looking for an easier course for your science credit, I suggest taking Biology 101. While it is still a difficult class, its is more suitable for those of you who are not as in to science as us science majors.

    Course highlights:

Despite the difficult learning environment, and slightly eccentric professor, I learned a lot in this course. I never thought that I would be able to write out scientific equations, or name every element of the periodic table, but here I am.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I highly recommend reading the textbook. I know, it is probably the most boring thing you could ever do, but it truly helps so much with this course. Also, reviewing the class notes each night before bed really helped me in my studies as well.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you took a general chemistry class in HS, this is a great course to refresh your memory on chemistry. If not, it is fairly easy to learn the content.

    Course highlights:

The best part about this course is that almost all of the content comes together to help you understand each aspect of the periodic table and why it is important.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read chapters before lecture so you have a good understanding of what the professor is talking about. Do as many practice problems and practice tests to prepare for exams.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry was not my very best, but if you are into chemistry and love the sciences I would recommend you to take it! You learn a lot of new formulas!

    Course highlights:

What I really gained from this course was patience and formulas, it will take time for you to understand many different kinds of formulas.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn and get to know the periodic table and elements! Study, study, study when you have the chance!
